在神的带领下路德会基督之光教会创建于2000年。 神借着圣灵引领和呼召，为在密苏里州圣路易斯地区开拓华人路德会宣教中心，向广大华人传播神的福音，在路德会密苏里区会，路德会以马内利教会等的祷告和支持下，开始了基督之光教会的宣教事工, 面向华人社区以普通话传扬福音，并以此为契机将福音的种子带回故土。我们的宣教使命是：扎根圣经，连于基督，广传基督之光。
25年来，教会不断发展壮大，现在有中英文双语崇拜并网上直播；
成人，青少年及儿童主日学； 祷告，查经及各项团契活动。设立有核心同工组，事工服侍组，弟兄会，姊妹会，诗班，乐队，及华人社区服务中心等。
基督之光教会已成为一个朝气蓬勃的充满恩典的教会。
Under God’s guidance, Lutheran Light of
Christ Church was established in 2000. Through the leading and calling of the
Holy Spirit, God raised up a Chinese Lutheran mission center in the St. Louis
area of Missouri to proclaim the Gospel to the Chinese community. With the
prayers and support of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod and Immanuel Lutheran
Church, Light of Christ Church launched its missionary ministry, preaching the
Gospel in Mandarin to the Chinese community and, through this ministry,
carrying the seeds of the Gospel back to the homeland. Our mission is: Rooted
in Scripture, Connected to Jesus, Sharing the Light of Christ.
Over the past 25 years, the
church has continued to grow and flourish. We now offer bilingual
Chinese–English worship services with online livestreaming, Sunday School for
adults, youth, and children, as well as prayer meetings, Bible studies, and
various fellowship activities. The church has established a core leadership
team, ministry service teams, men’s and women’s fellowships, a choir, a worship
band, and a Chinese Community Service Center.
Light of Christ Church has become
a vibrant, grace-filled, and thriving congregation.
